Player command / Rules

Play it straight. Keep Link on.

IGS is a player currency. You can send it between wallets, spend it on your own skill in Link, and — later — buy and sell on the marketplace. Skill tickets settle from official Competitive and Premier matches this PC’s Steam session can prove.

IGS / 03

The IGS wallet

  • One balance, many uses. IGS can be spent on skill tickets, sent to other wallet holders, and — when the marketplace opens — bought and sold.
  • Transfers between holders are peer to peer. You sign from the phone wallet just like any other commitment.
  • Phone jobs: hold balance, transfer, pair / unpair Link, and sign. The phone does not run the Steam match desk.

Before you commit on skill

  • Pair the wallet. IGS on your phone shows a pairing code. Enter it in Link once. Unpair from the wallet when you want this PC gone.
  • Connect Steam in Link. After pair, Link stays blocked until this PC has a Steam session. Commit and settle stay off until that session is valid.
  • Steam stays on this PC. The refresh token lives in Link’s local data. Passwords are not stored. Match demos are not uploaded — only the stats used to settle leave the machine.
  • Disconnect Steam from Link settings clears the local session and returns you to the Steam gate.

Skill tickets

  • Take yours on your skill. Build the ticket in Link from catalog lines on your own Comp or Premier performance. Returns are catalog × IGS level, frozen when you draft.
  • Sign from the wallet. The phone approves the IGS commitment. Until you sign, the ticket is Placed and nothing is taken.
  • Lock before the match starts. Menu and warmup are fine. Once official Comp or Premier is live, you cannot open a new ticket for that match.
  • Ticket life. Placed → Locked → In match → Under review → Won, Lost, or Forfeited. Forfeit does not return the IGS.

Settle and grace

  • Keep Link running through game over. At game over the ticket goes Under review. Link waits for Valve to publish the match, downloads that demo locally, and settles.
  • Grace clock. Under review shows a countdown. Settle before it hits zero or the IGS is forfeited — not returned.
  • Automatic settle runs only while Link is alive. Closing the window can leave the process up. Quitting from the tray stops the loop.
  • Manual settle stays. Paste a share code on the ticket, or forfeit. Forfeit still keeps the IGS.

What counts

  • Competitive and Premier only. Deathmatch and other modes do not move IGS level and do not settle skill tickets.
  • IGS level is not your CS rating. Level comes from settled Comp / Premier performance Link already attested. It changes catalog returns for new tickets only — open tickets keep the price you signed.
  • A forfeit does not move IGS level. Only a won or lost settle updates Elo.

Integrity

  • A Valve cheat ban can wipe the IGS wallet, close open tickets with no return, unpair Link, and remove you from your team.
  • A kick or abandon is not that. Those follow unfinished-match and forfeit rules, not a full account wipe.
  • Challenges stack while their window is open, unless we say otherwise.
  • Reject before lock cancels the draft. After lock, cancel is gone — finish the map or forfeit.
